The Goleman Emotional Intelligence framework challenges us toward awareness beyond a focus on the individual, asserting that change comes from the inside out. You cannot support health and wholeness in any of the four levels -- self, relational, community or system -- without holding the context and necessity of that healing in all four. This model can be applied to any type of healing or growth and is critical for any change-maker to have meaningful impact.
